Not only did this patient have a cavity problem, but he also grinds his teeth at night causing an extreme amount of wear.  A previous dentist had tried to place a couple of crowns (caps), but the end result was two very short, unappealing teeth.  We opened the patient�s bite with a mouthpiece and erupted the back teeth with orthodontic rubber bands.  This provided enough space to construct teeth with the proper length.  And what an awesome result!
